Affair Recovery Intensives

Affair Recovery Intensives at Connection Couples Counseling
A two-day affair recovery intensive with Cori White, LPC, in Wyomissing, PA.
You can rebuild trust after an affair.
After an affair, most couples have no idea how to rebuild trust. Then, because they don't know what to do, they end up in a constant cycle of pain, fighting, and making things worse.
But there is a way to actually reduce the pain and rebuild trust. I teach couples how to rebuild trust, how to create connection after betrayal, and how to love each other again.
What we'll do
An affair recovery intensive follows the same two-day format as all of my intensives, but the work blocks focus on the affair. Two things I do with every affair couple:
-
The betrayed partner gets to ask their questions. Out loud, with me there to support you both.
-
We build a tangible framework for rebuilding trust. I'll walk you both through a very specific way you can work toward rebuilding trust. It gives you concrete things to look for, so you can both tell whether trust is being built, and if it's not.
What changes
Here's what couples tell me after an intensive for infidelity:
The person who was betrayed tells me it's the first time they've felt safe with their partner since the affair. The first time they've felt understood. The first time they feel like their partner actually understands the pain they caused, and the first time they've seen their partner be emotional about it. And they leave feeling hopeful that they might be able to trust their partner again.
The person who had the affair tells me they leave understanding more about why it happened. They have a better idea of how to rebuild trust and what their partner actually needs from them. And they leave with some hope that they can repair some of the damage the infidelity caused.
