Our office is located in Wyomissing, PA. Many of our clients visit us from all over Berks County. Our office is a cozy, comfortable space for you to experience marriage counseling.
Yes! All of our couples therapists see couples in Pennsylvania virtually. You can be in Erie, in Harrisburg, in Reading, in Pittsburgh - and still get amazing couples counseling from our expert team of couples therapists.
Your couples therapist will create a space for you and your partner where they will guide you through conversations that will help you understand your relationship patterns, change your relationship patterns, with the ultimate goal of creating more connection and happiness in your relationship.
In sessions, your couples counselor will actively structure the conversations so they don’t spiral into the same argument you have over and over at home. You’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface, practice new communication skills, and learn how to respond to each other in ways that build safety and trust.
Your job is to:
-be honest in the conversations
-have a willingness to understand your partner's perspective and see it from their side
-take feedback from your couples counselor about healthy communication so that your partner can understand your perspective better
Our session rates vary based on the counselor’s level of experience and advanced training.
Counselors with more years in the field or specialized certifications may have higher fees.
No matter who you work with, every therapist on our team is a qualified, trained, and competent couples counselor who provides high-quality care. We make sure each clinician receives ongoing supervision and continuing education so you’re always in good hands.

We might be biased - but yes - it's worth the money to see a couples counselor.
Many couples find that counseling is far less costly—emotionally and financially—than staying stuck, disconnected, or resentful. (And truth be told - marriage counseling usually costs less than a divorce lawyer.)
The money you spend on couples counseling can help improve your romantic connection, your sense of fulfillment, your intimacy, and overall quality of life.
We are a private pay only practice. Some of our clients are able to use their out of network insurance benefits to get reimbursed for their counseling services. To see if you have OON benefits, you can read your plan or call your insurance representative to ask your insurance company.
If you do have OON benefits, you would still pay us directly, and we would provide you with a medical receipt to submit to your insurance company for your reimbursement. If you're interested in learning why we don't accept insurance, here is an article we wrote to help explain: why we are private pay.
There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline - but your counselor can explore different potential outcomes and timelines based on your relationship.
In general, some couples notice shifts within a few sessions, while others need longer support depending on the issues involved. Progress depends on commitment, consistency, and the complexity of what you’re working through.
One thing to keep in mind: the sooner you get a couples counselor to help you, the sooner you will experience change. The longer you wait to address your marriage or relationship problems, the harder they are to work through them.
We will work with you in an initial consult or session to determine the best course of action for counseling.
The difference is between someone who can do something, and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally. A mental health professional can help you approach your situation in a new way– teach you new skills, gain different perspectives, listen to you without judgment or expectations, and help you listen to yourself. Furthermore, counseling is completely confidential. You won’t have to worry about others “knowing my business.” Lastly, if your situation provokes a great deal of negative emotion, if you’ve been confiding in a friend or family member, there is the risk that once you are feeling better you could start avoiding that person so you aren’t reminded of this difficult time in your life.
Not at all! Couples counseling supports married, engaged, dating, cohabitating, and long-term partners. If you’re in a committed relationship and want it to feel healthier, we *highly* recommend couples counseling!
