Get to Know Me Better
TV or Movie couple you would love to counsel:
I would LOVE to counsel Blair and Chuck from Gossip Girl! Their relationship is so intense… but also passionate and full of emotional highs and lows. I’d love to help them work through their trust issues, communication breakdowns, and tendency to play power games with each other. Underneath all the drama, they both crave love and security, but often struggle to express vulnerability in healthy ways (as we see many times in the show!). I think that through couples counseling, they could build a relationship based on mutual respect instead of control!

What’s something you wish all couples knew:
I wish everyone knew that fighting is inevitable… and contrary to what you might hear or see on social media, it doesn’t mean your relationship is failing. Conflict, when handled healthily and respectfully, can actually strengthen your connection. It creates space for honesty, growth, and deeper understanding when both partners are willing to work through it together!!

Favorite relationship problem to help people with:
I love helping people figure out how to support each other emotionally during big life transitions—whether it's grief, becoming parents, a big fight, moving, or career shifts. I love watching how learning to really show up for each other in those hard moments deepens their communication and connection in everyday life, too. It’s powerful to see couples grow closer through the challenges!

Ideal vacation:
My ideal vacation is honestly anywhere with my family—whether it’s Disney, camping, or a beach trip. I have nieces and nephews, so it’s the best watching them have fun and make memories. But if we are talking IDEAL ideal… I would love to relax in an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora (my dream!!!) or see the northern lights in Alaska!

Favorite relationship related book:
I love “Eight Dates” by John and Julie Gottman. It’s a great tool for premarital couples (well, and all couples). It gives you guided conversations around the things that matter most in a relationship - like trust, conflict, sex, money, and dreams for the future. I love how it helps couples connect on a deeper level and really understand each other!
